Fellows will be partnered with an educational leader in the Department of Anestheisology and Critical Care Medicine to undertake a longitudinal educational research project in addition to participation in the Master Teacher Leadership Development Program (MTLDP). This is a 1-year, unaccredited fellowship that incorporates clinical anesthesiology practice with a certificate in medical education.
Enhance your teaching skills; develop your educational leadership ability and extend your scholarship in education-related research. Please click here for program details and a link to the Fellowship website.
The MTLDP offers an exceptional learning opportunity for faculty in medicine, health sciences, public health and the basic sciences to enhance their teaching skills, pursue scholarship in education and develop their leadership potential. If you interact with students or residents individually or in groups, teach a small group course, or run a major clerkship, then MTLDP may be beneficial to you!
Offered in partnership with the Graduate School of Education and Human Development, the MTLDP consists of six courses (18 credit hours) taken over a one-year period. Classes meet every Wednesday afternoon beginning in July and culminating the following June. 70 of your peers have graduated from this program!
