Thoracic Anesthesiology

GW senior residents are assigned to a thoracic anesthesiology rotation at The George Washington University Hospital. Additional rotations may be assigned at Suburban Hospital with thoracic surgery cases. Residents on this rotation are exposed to a variety of open and minimaly invasive thoracic cases, including mediastinal masses, cancer resections, pneumonectomies, esophagectomies and a variety of other surgeries utilizing robotic techniques.
